Sections 10 (i) (ii) and 23 Punjab Civil Servants (Appointment and Terms of Service) Rules, 1974, R22 Ad hoc Appointment Approved by the Chief Minister, on a regular basis, the Government employee has been appointed as Sub-Engineer, but the Department Hired them on ad hoc. On a temporary basis, the Chief Minister is given powers of self-governance, once he has ordered the appointment of civil servants on a regular basis, a selection under the Punjab Civil Servants Rules 1974. The procedure for recruitment by the Authority shall be deemed to have been given on a regular basis by the Chief Minister on condition of appointment to the Government employees, the Government employee shall be deemed to have been appointed on a regular basis and the Department shall be considered as civil. No option to change nature of appointment. The Government employee, regularly employed for the job, shall be deemed to have been appointed on the regular engineer's post of Engineer on the date of his appointment by order of the Chief Minister.
