MEHMOOD AHMED versus GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB THROUGH SECRETARY LG&CD LAHORE
The resignation of the original \ nsummer of any of the Tehsil Councils under section 156, 68, 63 and 72 of the Punjab Local Government Ordinance 2001, wherein the Deputy Speaker of the Tehsil Council is elected as the Deputy. The motion against the offending Nazim was triggered by a majority of the House, a memorandum under section 63 of the Tehsil Council Ordinance could remove a Tehsil Nazim, aib deputy. According to Section 72 of the Ordinance, the majority of the Tehsil Councils can be removed by expressing dissatisfaction and the Ordinance may be removed to relieve the Tehsil. No arrangements were made in this area. Such supply was evident due to its absence. The responsibility of the Tehsil Council was to make the Tehsil Council's act clear, to express its distrust of both the fact and the law, and as a result, it can only be done with regard to the office of the Deputy Nazim. The \ Officiating Moderator \ (actually the Deputy Registrar before the election), apparently appears to have relinquished the office of Vice-Chancellor of the Tehsil Council and held the office of Tehsil Nazim, under the direction of the provincial government. The appointment of the Tehsil Nazim was not only wrong in fact, but had no legal consequence and consequence of error. \ r \ n
