UZMA NAZIR versus SECRETARY, EDUCATION PUNJAB LAHORE

Article 199 Constitutional Petition Civil Service Petitioner, a schoolteacher, challenged the intervention to cancel the transfer order in the constitutional petition because of political interference, the High Court upheld the transfer order in the constitutional jurisdiction. Intervention was denied. However, the provincial secretary directed the schools to look into the matter and see if the applicant could be given a place near his residence, which appears to be a real issue. The constitutional petition was dismissed by the High Court.
