The applicant's objection to the petitioner's seats, the objection, was that the first respondent was constituted under the Punjab Irrigation and Drainage Authority (Pilot Area Water Board) Rules 2005. Rhea was a member of the water board, while the second defendant was elected chairman of the Punjab Irrigation and Sewerage \ Khalid Panchayat of. Created under the Authority (Pilot Farmers' Organizations) Rules, 2005, the Punjab Irrigation and Drainage Authority Act 1997, thus, both were disqualified by the election tribunal to contest the elections under the aegis of Government Employee. Tion in the year 2008; and that the decision of the Tribunal was upheld by the order of the Returning Officer of the Supreme Court in which the respondents' papers were nominated. The sole purpose of the legislation was to involve the farmers of any area in the irrigation system to achieve better yields. Respondents were not appointed nor were they employees of the authority or held such positions for the entire office, but they were performing their duties as elected members of the farmer but there was nothing available to show.
