Sections 12, 14 (5) and 99 constitution of Pakistan, Article 62 (f), dismissing the appellant's papers nomination scrutiny on the charge of hiding the factual facts were dismissed. Appellant also announced an increase in its assets in the year 2012, as per the details given in the Asset Papers Asset Column, along with the declaration of total income through its nomination in Column No. 12 of the nomination papers. There was no clarification from where the increase was examined by the Returning Officer and the Election Tribunal found that the appellant did not truly reflect his sources of income in various papers which did not match each other. Such discrepancies were substantial and reflected seriously on the personal character of the appellant. Article 62 (f) of the Constitution provided the basic qualification for being a Member of the House of Representatives, as a right of a conscious, virtuous, non-profit, honest and trustworthy appellant to be ruled that the Constitution The Returning Officer dismissed the appeal for lack of qualification mentioned in Article 62 (f) of the KA.
