Under the legality, the cattle mandis authority is not prohibited from conducting any such joint auction. To pass any order for delaying the resolution of the Tehsil Municipal Authority and holding a joint auction of cattlemen and this action shall be taken only by the Provincial Chief Executive under the provisions of Sections 69 and 70 of the Punjab Locality. There was an offer to stop. There is no law prohibiting the holding of cattle markets in the Government Ordinance 2001, therefore, the municipal authority of the tehsil cannot be barred from holding any joint cattle market.
