Sections 10 (2) (3) and (4) of the Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Act 1956 [as amended by the Pakistan International Airlines Corporation (Amendment) Act (LIII of 1984]] apply to the employees of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation. Tribunals Act, 1973, such employee services under the PIA Corporation was declared a service of Pakistan under section 10 (3) of the Pakistan International Airlines Act 1956 and all persons, who are employed under the Corporation, as persons corporation. I was on deputation, was not declared. Be a civil servant for the purpose of the Service Tribunals Act 1973, PIA employees enjoyed the status of public servants between 15 11 1984 and 2 11 1989 (then the amendment to this Act was repealed). Any dispute regarding their terms and conditions was serviceable by an appeal filed by the Federal Service Tribunal within a specific period of 30 198 1987, therefore, fully eligible under the law.
