The Federal Recruitment Authority was invited through the Federal Public Service Commission to request the appointment of a Data Control Officer (B17). The government employee claimed that the data control officer could not be recruited directly into the vacancy. Under the recruitment rules, 1990, the promotion quota was allotted. According to the recruitment rules, 1990, 50 posts of posts were to be filled through promotions and the other 50 filled up by the initial appointment and three posts of data control officers. Two were already filled up, one through promotion and one directly from recruitment. Since the last vacancy was filled through promotion, the third available vacancy will be filled directly by recruitment. Action that cannot be interrupted
