KHAN LASHARI versus GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN
Constitution of Pakistan 1973 Article 212 (3) Salaries, salaries and payments of civil servants were terminated from employment, the authorities granted interim relief to the constituted government employees and salaries were allowed till May. The 2000 Service Tribunal accepted appeals filed by government employees but refused interim relief. One of the government employees extended such relief on the issue with the consent of the Supreme Court officials. Government employees were not willing to make such a concession. The point of the employees was that they should get the same relief that was given by the Supreme Court to another civil servant in the case of a public servant. The Waldetti order was voluntarily an order of consent and since the authorities were not satisfied with the present petitions, it could not be given to the other public servant given to the existing public servants.
