MUMTAZ ALI versus MAYOR, MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, MIRPUR
The allotment of 61 plots of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Local Government Act, 1990 may authorize the municipal corporation of the municipal corporation to dispose of the plot or land kept in it by the relevant authority, but the municipal committee may not create new plots at any open or other place. Nor can it deviate / exceed the limits laid down in the Master Plan as per Article 61, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Local Government Act 1990.
