Section 302 Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 185 (3) was granted for leave of appeal to examine whether in the circumstances when there was only one knife injury to the upper part of the victim's right thigh, which proved fatal. And that too because of a spontaneous dispute between the parties, it would be under section 304, PPC, not under section 302, PPC.
