Section 4 Azad Jammu and Kashmir Civil Servants Act, 1976, Section 21 Promotion Appeal: Appointment of a Government employee working as a Representative / Sub Inspector, to include his / her name in List F and thereafter progress to the post of Inspector. The granting authority had dismissed the appeal. A dismissal was filed by a public servant who was banned for two days. The government employee neither filed a petition for consolation nor satisfied the service tribunal. Why has he filed an appeal beyond this limit for that purpose? The servant was dismissed, the appeal was time-barred, otherwise he was also liable to be dismissed as a civil servant before filing an appeal in the service tribunal, by filing an appeal with the departmental appellate authority to obtain departmental remedies.
