No express authority of the agent's authority has been given to the agent by his principal, the contracting act 1872 section 188, his authority shall extend to the purchase and defense claim of the land filed against his principal, but beyond this Compromise will not extend. In order to surrender a large part of the land area for nominal consideration, the agent had no right to the land he owned, and what he did before the settlement in question was to give his principal rights to the country. I cannot justify surrendering. No resolution was reached by the Principal (the Society) to deal with the Principal's (Managing Committee) suit without having to follow its own rules that its Agent Agent had to deal with in this case. I have to compromise. In that regard, a large part of the land, as a matter of consideration, was not guaranteed
