KHALID MEHMOOD versus SENIOR SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE, GUJRAT
In the Constitution of Pakistan 1973 Article 199 Criminal Procedure Code (v. 1898), in section 154, the police killed four people in an encounter, which was reported to have been fabricated by the Assistant Commissioner. The suspicion and untrustworthy inquiry report and district magistrate's endorsement were incomplete with no objective purpose and thus led to further complications which have led to the police encounters facing doubts as to the circumstances in which the copy of the constitutional petition was inspected by the Inspector General. Police were sent to Punjab, which directed DIG Crime Range to be demolished. ? Investigating the case and if the responding police officers were found guilty, the constitutional request to file a criminal case against them under relevant provisions of the law was dealt with accordingly.
