Section 2 (n) of the Workmen's Compensation Act 1923 raised the initial objection to the impression that the employee was a civil servant and not an employee, in response to a complaint filed against the employee's dismissal. In this case, the hearing of the petition filed by the jurisdiction and the employees was not maintained. The employee was employed as a deputy messenger. There was no need to perform any duty outside the court. Under the circumstances, it was rightly found that the employee was not an employee and the Labor Court had no jurisdiction in the matter:
