COLGATE- PALMOLIVE versus DEPUTY REGISTRAR TRADE MARKS
Section 12 provides a special provision for the registration of trademarks associated with certain trademarks, the provisions of the Associated Trademarks Section 12, Trademarks Act, 1940. The owner of the registered mark may be registered for or closely similar to his other goods. Goods for which it was pre-registered or cause such mark to be deceived or confused If used by another person, the provision of Article 12, Trademarks Act 1940, as a special provision Such relevant trademarks will be dealt specifically with the Registration.
