Section 497 of the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (XXV of 1997), Section 9 (c), the arrest of drugs, the trafficking of smugglers, and the expected amount of punishment for the accused in this case had to be taken into account. The suspect was reportedly sentenced to less than ten kilograms for up to fourteen years in prison, while two kilograms of prohibited hashish was allegedly recovered from the possession of the accused, the suspect was unlikely to be sentenced for more than two years. ? Involved in the investigation, the Investigation Agency was no longer required. The accused was neither a former perpetrator, nor was the accused involved in such crimes allowed to bail.
