Former Impressions which are pending under the pre-emption section of the section 35 (1) of the pre-emption, institute or section 35 (1) of the Punjab Pre-Impression Act of 1991 between 1986 and 28 03 1990. They will also apply to the suit. Which were filed under Islamic Joint / Classical Law, and were pending when the pre-ordinance (XVIII of 1990, XXI of 1990, XXVII of 1990, IX of 1991) came into force and finally the Punjab Pre-British Act. The provisions of section 35 (1) of the Punjab Pre-Emission Act, 1991, will also be attracted to pending cases.
