Regulations 8 (1), (2) and (4) of the Pakistan Telecommunications (Reorganization) Act (XVII of 1996), Section 21 Penal Code (XLV of 1860), Constitution of Sections 294A and 294B of Pakistan, Article 185 ( 3) The prize schemes offered by the mobile phone operators to their customers are run as lotteries in the legally unfair trade practice prize schemes. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) instructed all cellular mobile operators to immediately stop all prize schemes as they are being exploited indiscriminately. Elements attracting consumers towards fake rewards, and the same misleading / deceptive activities were spawning, almost all of the prize schemes offered by legitimate cellular mobile operators sent messages to users on their own networks. Was encouraged to use and telephone operators so that they could enter a cheerful draw, and the winner of the draw would win different prizes. / s and telephone calls at significantly higher rates, and after deducting the cost of extra taxes, additional costs and rewards, the profit of Secular 294A & 294B of the Pakistan Penal Code increased, 1860, restricted / restricted lotteries and prizes. The presentation of the schemes appears to be in violation of section 294, PPC, as a lottery lot and the offer of prizes was a clear violation of section 294B, PPC, thus the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority with its Rights. Instruct cellular mobile operators to withhold the aforementioned prize schemes, the difficulty of winning advertised prizes in any prize scheme.
