The appellate court dismissed the appeal and the petition filed for recovery of the dowry articles. The issue raised by the wife was that in view of sections 14 (2) (b) and (c) of the West Pakistan Family Courts Act, 1964, no appeal before the lower appellate could be sustained by the lower appellate court. Disregarded the provisions of section 14 of the Pakistan Family Courts Act, 1964. The judgment and decree passed by the lower appellate court were against the express provisions of the law and were granted beyond the jurisdiction and without any legal authority, and the decisions and injunctions passed by the lower appellate Was rejected. The court restored the family court petition and was dismissed under the circumstances
