RAO ZAHID TASAWAR versus SECRETARY M/O INTERIOR

Article 212 (3) of the Civil Service Appeal for the Supreme Court had approved whether, after rejecting the dismissal order, the applicant was entitled to return benefits up to the date of his resignation. That after resigning, the public servant was entitled to be absent; whether the resignation had no effect unless it was accepted by the competent authority. And whether the service tribunal can accept the resignation of an officer who is otherwise qualified to be a competent authority
