Section 54 Punjab Land Rules, 1983, R14 (2) (ii) Law Reform Ordinance (XII of 1972), Section 3 (2) Punjab Land Acquisition Rules of Intra Court Appeal Restoration R14 (2) (ii) 1983 The application was decided in favor of the original owners of the land, subject to certain conditions imposed by the Board of Revenue High Court, the provincial government suspended the High Court decision in the intra-court. The Division Bench of Appeal High Court rejected the intra-court appeal on the ground that it was not enforceable because the provincial government had the right to file an appeal under section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. The Act, 1894, was not available to the parties, therefore, the intra-court appeal with regard to section 3 (2) of the Law Reform Ordinance 1972 was dismissed, which was the result of a false doctrine formulated by the Division. A bench of the Supreme Court, while keeping aside the order, remanded the matter to the Division Bench of the High Court for hearing the intra-court appeal.
