Section 25 Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Arts 199 and 204 Constitutional Petitions filed by the mother for contempt of the minor daughter were allowed up to the High Court level against the father but the father survived the minor's custody. Not delivered. The mother's presence was obtained by the police taking vigorous action. The minor's marriage was handed over to the mother and the father was prosecuted under Article 204 of the Constitution for violating court orders and sentenced to three months \ RI and a fine of Rs 5,000 for non-payment. He was sentenced to another month in simple fines; half of the fine, if realized, was ordered to be paid to his mother.
