DR. SYED ABUL HASSAN NAJMEE versus GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB
Punjab Subordinate Judicial Service Tribunals Ordinance 1991 Section 5 Government Punjab Order No. 2 II 23/6/30, Dated, 11/17 2 1993 and Finance Department Circular No. FDRSI 9 3/86, Dated 20, 1988 Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 212 (3) was the owner of the Special Allowance LLM Degree for LLM and PhD Qualifying Qualifying Employees and also eligible for a Public Employee's PhD Claim. He said that PLD allowance should be given special allowance for LLM besides Punjab Subordinate Judiciary. The service tribunal denied the claim of a civil servant. There is no government rule or policy decision that entitles civil servants to special allowances for LLM degrees other than PLD allowance.
