Article 156 Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 199 Constitutional petition Investigation of the case against which a case was registered under Section 392/381, PPC, was against the fake applicant who was the father of the accused. The petitioner prayed that the police officer should not be harassed and instructed the investigating officer to recover Rs. 4,00,000 from him who had been lied to as per the security petition. The protest was made and it was claimed that it was an attempt to disrupt the investigation process and that the applicant had alternative treatment. Although filing a private complaint by the applicant against the Investigation Officer was serious, the High Court could not direct a separate inquiry in this regard. The High Court observed that the allegations made by the petitioner were against the Investigation Officer. It would be in the interest of justice if the officer is not below the rank of deputy superintendent of police
