Criminal Code of Conduct (CRPC) Section 6161A Prevention of Corruption (II of 1947 of II), Section (2) Termination of a civil suit in connection with the same transaction for which the defendants were previously sued. The High Court and the High Court had set forth specific cases in this regard which were alleged to have been filed under section61AA for termination of proceedings. Alternatively, the CRPC had prayed that civil litigation between the parties on criminal matters should be stopped at that time. In light of matters of determination of rights and duties, the accused High Court accepted the alternative prayer of the accused and directed that the criminal proceedings be stayed until the final determination of civil litigation.
