Criminal Code of Conduct (CRPC) Section 497 Reversal Rule (XLV of 1860), Section 324/149 Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 185 (3) rejected the petition of the High Court to dismiss the accused. The complainant received 30/35 multiple bullet insertion wounds on the back and lateral part of his left shoulder and 8-10 bullet penetration wounds on the left side of his face and chin and his arm seats. The complainant's reason for the injuries sustained on reasonable grounds was that the accused was sentenced to ten years imprisonment and in addition to such imprisonment he was also punished for the injury.
