In the West Pakistan Land Revenue Act 1967 section 164 the Government Land Colonization (Punjab) Act (v. 1912), the allotment of land in sections 10 and 30 was leased for one year, after the expiration of the one year lease term. Repeated requests were made to submit more leasehold land, but their applications were rejected on the basis that their lease had expired, subject to the lease being issued from time to time. Could be extended over a period of years. After the expiry of one year, the lease was considered as occupied, the lease was revised and the lease on the lease was restored and extended accordingly, the balance was collected by the lease. Under a new scheme that can apply for the grant of proprietary rights under the new scheme.
