The entire prosecution was skeptical. The prosecutor's explanation that no one was prepared to appear appears to be flawed and he did not believe in the strange circumstances of the prosecution, therefore, without reasonable doubt, the accused's guilt was not proved. Accordingly, the accused was acquitted.
