Sindh Rated Premises Ordinance 1979 section 15 (2) (ii) in the payment of the tenant stated that he was paying the rent of the house to the landlord, but the landlord was not issuing the rent receipts as the landlord had to admit. As well as not issuing rent receipts, the burden of proof was on the landlord to establish a non-payment of rent by the tenant, but the landlord failed to provide sufficient proof to prove that the renter was paying the rent. I the tenant has committed the default offense, in the circumstances, the wrong tenant was found to be the default.
