AIJAZ AHMED KHAN versus CHIEF SECRETARY TO GOVERNMENT OF SINDH
Sections 2 and 8 Sindh Government Employees (Probation, Certification and Sanity) Rules, 1975, Rr 8 and 10 Adhoc Promotions Government employees were promoted on an ad hoc basis, but were regulated by departmental officials to regularize their development. No action was taken, as a result, their advertising retained the status of ad hoc promotions, ad hoc advertising could not be treated as regular advertising based on any document and such promoters were not allowed on a high scale. But in addition to regular regular notification, they cannot be held to be regular. Including the names of such promotions in the AdHoc Promotions Seniority List was not illegal at all. Such involvement would not only increase the sanity dispute between the parties, but would also be an offense for wrongdoing.
