Punjab Local Government Ordinance 1979 Sections 137, 138, 144 and other charges of taxation by the Local Council Section 137 of the Punjab Local Government Ordinance 1979 prohibiting any local law from any law subject to the provisions of another law. Allows Any tax listed in Sec 138 of the Second Schedule of the Ordinance shall be notified of all taxes imposed by the Local Council and, unless directed by the Government, under the direction of Section 144 of the Local Government Ordinance. Accordingly, the previous post will be subject to change. All taxes and other charges incurred by the Municipal Council will be construed, assessed, leased, compounded, managed and banned.
