MUHAMMAD BASHIR versus MOINUDDIN
Sindh Rented Premises Ordinance 1979 Section 14, Landlord attempted to evict a tenant on the basis that he had attained the age of 60 and was deprived of employment and the shop wants to make a living for his cross. During the inspection, the homeowner had no suggestion that he was younger. The Sixty National Identity Cards clearly state that the landlord was fifty years old in 1974 when the tenant was issued and his witness stated in cross-examination that the landlord's age was seventy years of age. The lists show that the landlord is sixty-five years old, and such evidence, held, was sufficient to prove that the landlord was over sixty years old.
