MUHAMMAD YAQOOB versus MAQBOOLAN BEGUM
The clash that was left to resolve the holding dispute of Article 10 (1973), Article 185 (3) of the Constitution of Pakistan was about 2 acres of land lying in a ditch in which the applicants were not partners. In the debate that the major shareholders of the KATA agreed that the applicants could be included as co-partners in the case, but not all other stakeholders agreed with the arrangement in the context of the Member, Board of Directors. The dispute was investigated by the Revenue and there was no injustice to the woman, as the other party was a gunman. The relevant law for the applicants was also substantially complied with and did not justify reopening the case.
