Under the same decision, the appellate court considered the deceased widow to be limited to the owner of the suit, under section 2 of the Punjab Muslim Personal Law (Sharia) Application (Removal of Problems) Act, 1975. The widow was entitled to a 1/4 share of the confession. From the Defendant, the separation will be held to the extent of 1/4 of the shares will be vested in the Plaintiffs due to the plaintiff's legal inheritance in the 3/4 of the Defendants.
