MST. KANIZAN BEGUM versus ADDITIONAL DISTRICT JUDGE, LAYYAH

Section 5, Schedule Constitution of Pakistan, Article 199 The suit for recovery of the Dower, namely, the marriage court of the Family Court Circular No. 16, will be related to the adjustment of property between the parties to the contract. The said landed property in the marriage contract was given to the wife in lieu of Dover and she was included in column number 16 of the marriage contract. Syed's property became the personal property of the wife. The Syed matter was in the exclusive jurisdiction of the Family Court. The court was against the facts and the appellate court's decision was set aside and the family court restored. The constitutional application was accepted in the circumstances.
