Following the announcement of the Gas (Theft Control and Recovery) Ordinance, 2014, all matters related to gas theft were transferred to the Gas Utility Court, and such a criminal jurisdiction could decide the fate of the current FIR. There was no jurisdiction, so it should be. Increasing the pollution of the Gas (Theft Control and Recovery) Ordinance, 2014, in view of section 5 (7) of this ordinance would not be sufficient to provide relief from the accused, as stated in any other court. All actions will be pending. The Gas Utility Court, filed by the accused in connection with the termination of the FIR, was unable to maintain the constitutional application on the legal premises, and accordingly was dismissed.
