PRESIDENT BALOCHISTAN HIGH COURT BAR ASSOCIATION versus FEDERATION OF PAKISTAN

Articles 32, 140A and 184 (3) of the Constitution relating to the holding of local elections under the Articles 18, 140A and 184 (3) Constitutional application for the application and extension of election dates for the holding of local elections in the provinces. Due to some practical and technical difficulties in the area, the selection of the proposed revised revised pool program / dates has been provided by the Election Commission for holding local elections. This is possible because it was a constitutional order and deviation from the constitution was not possible. This amendment pool program (provided by the Election Commission) was issued for holding local elections in the provinces of Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and by-elections will be held on December 7, 2013 in Balochistan Province. The Election Commission and the provincial governments have shown their commitment to the constitution.
