Applicants to Article 199 Constitution petition urged the authorities to issue instructions to the builders to make proper arrangements for the fire in the buildings. The High Court accepted the authorities under the direction of the Karachi Building Control Authority that while approving the proposed building project, they should bear in mind what arrangements were made to deal with the fire incident. And make sure that proper arrangements were made and that a separate route should be provided in the emergency, depending on the height and density of the building.
