GUL MUHAMMAD versus PROVINCE OF SINDH THROUGH SECRETARY REVENUE, GOVERNMENT OF SINDH

Article 199 Constitution Petition Civil Service applicants instructed the authorities to regularize their services against permanent / vacant posts. Applicants believed that as low-paid employees, they were working honestly to the satisfaction of their superiors and no complaint was ever made against them. The applicants further claimed that they had been working on a daily wage basis since 2004 and had applied to the competent authority to regularize them, but the competent authority did not consider their request. The officer (Revenue) was instructed to regularize the constitutional request, within a week, the services of the applicants on the letters he was working on
