Section 497 Conventional Code (XLV of 1860), Sections 302, 147, 148 and 149 of the murder of Um Bell, the victim's husband, was executed simply because he had contracted the marriage of her choice. No one even married her. Did the two accused have no objection to his marriage with the deceased and if he was granted bail of the accused, he had no objection.
