MIRZA QAMAR-UZ-ZAMAN versus GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB THROUGH SECRETARY, HOME DEPARTMENT, LAHORE
Section 8 of the Punjab Service Tribunals Act (IX of 1974), Article 4 of the Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 199 of the Constitution Promotion, entitled to enforce the order of the service tribunal petitioners, prayed that the authorities should be instructed by the service tribunal. The decision should be passed in their favor. Letter and spirit should be implemented and they should be given promotion / professional promotion to the post of DSP (Legal), from the time the respondents were all benefited as a result while the respondents were relieved. Given that, the then Additional Inspector General of Police of Police in particular made it clear that the benefit given to the respondents would not be a pre-service tribunal consideration for others while the applicants' appeal was allowed. That the order of the Additional Inspector General stipulates that this order of promotion of the defendants shall not be cited. For example, the decision of the service tribunal stated that it could not be sustained in the eyes of the law, after reaching the deadline, it was the responsibility to implement the same in the letter and apply the same relief to the applicants. Entitled to meet, which in his true spirit was extended to the respondents, the authorities were instructed to enforce the decision of the service tribunal in letter and spirituality. From the day the respondent was promoted, the pharma form as DSP (Legal) should be promoted.
