The suspect, Grant, according to the FIR, opened fire on the calf of the complainant's brother's left leg and did not repeat it. A firearm charge was prepared in the trial against the accused, but no evidence has been filed yet. Thus, one of them was further investigation into the scope of section 497 (2); the PCP had no basis for denying my trial bail if it required further investigation into the accused's case. If so, the defendant is allowed to bail under the circumstances.
