SHAHAB-UD-DIN versus COMMISSIONER, LAHORE DIVISION
Section A, A, A 17 and 17 Constitution of Pakistan (1973), Article 185 (3) for the Public Limited Company to give up the purpose of acquisition of land, the owners of the land object to occupy their land on this land. Does not require an underground question. The acquisition corporation object was rejected by the Land Acquisition Collector and the order was upheld by the High Court in the use of the constitutional petition. The High Court, while rejecting the landlord's constitutional petitions, had considered both the objections to the acquisition and concluded that there was nothing in the evidence that the change in the name of the company was the motive for the acquisition. The High Court also concluded that no religious institution was being run on any part of the land which was acquired for religious purposes. The Land Acquisition Commissioner also dealt with the two.
