An appeal was filed under section 32 of the National Accountability Ordinance, 1999 for filing an appeal against the judgment of the Accountability Court, which the authorities failed to file within the stipulated period, so the authorities could explain the delay in filing the appeal. Unable, therefore, the High Court refused to apologize for the delay of one year and six months in filing the pending appeal.
