Reference to the Civil Court made under sections 18 and 26 of the Court Fees Act (VII of 1870), Schedule II, Arts 17 (iii) and (IV) and Section 18 of Schedule 1, Article 1, Land Acquisition Act, 1894. Appeal against rejection. Under section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, the court fee was quoted on the plea that its compensation was insufficient and was not acceptable to the appellant but the reference under section 18 was not appropriate even though the proceedings. I was given the award. The court will consider the order under Article 26 (iii) of Article II of the Fees Act 1870 and will not appeal and appeal against the decision to reject the award and retain the compensation by the Collector. Under Article 1 of Schedule I to the Court Fees Act, 1870
