Civil court wives can legally make a condition for their divorce under the contract, and they can file a claim on the basis of the agreement, in addition to the dower fixed at the time of the marriage contract. No such condition can be declared contrary to the terms of public policy or Islamic law. Before the Family Court and the Civil Court have obtained exclusive jurisdiction for these individuals, the ban on the right to divorce cannot be applied through a suit.
