FAHAD ALI QURESHI versus BAHAUDDIN ZAKARIYA UNIVERSITY, MULTAN

Regulation 8 Constitution of Pakistan, (1973), Article 199 Constitution Petitioner was removed from the University Administration for Business Administration role as he failed to achieve the minimum required CGPA score in his fourth semester. The constitutional petition was filed on the basis of the applicant that since he was a student who was still repeating some courses last semester, he was referred to the fourth semester under Regln 8 (G) of the department. No need to score. The validity clause (B) of Regln 8 was generalized, whereas clause G specifically divided students into two types of sets with the fourth semester Regln 8 (G), the first to be repeated in any previous semester. Was not needed. And they needed to get a CGPA of not less than 2% and secondly, those who still had some courses left to repeat.
