MUKHTAR AHMED versus THE STATE

Under section 2302, the PPC and the offense were proved under the same section, the accused was tried under section 181818, PPC, for which punishment was imposed under Section 191919, PPC. He was sentenced to five years, the accused was already undergoing five years imprisonment, his sentence was reduced to a period under which he had already passed.
