IQBAL ZAFAR JHAGRA versus KHALILUR REHMAN
Sections 12 (2), 34 and 36 to 44 of the Senate (1975) Act 1975 Rules, 1975, R5 Election for the Senate valid nomination and the selection of the required candidate for the election, rejecting the nomination nomination. Appeal to the officer to appeal to the Chief Election Commissioner that the nature of the proceedings on both forums was decided by a selection tribunal after the trial of the election petition on the matter, whether the candidate was nominated or the competent authority to contest the election. The decision will take precedence. The Election Commissioner, on appeal on the same issue which was directed by the Returning Officer Chief Election Commissioner against the order to reject the nomination papers of the candidate, did not decide the decision of the Returning Officer to accept the nomination papers.
